“COREZ AdBlue” (Diesel Exhaust Fluid)

AdBlue is a diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) used in vehicles with Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) technology to reduce harmful gases being released into the atmosphere. AdBlue is a 32,5 % solution of high-purity, synthetically manufactured urea in de-mineralized water. It is a safe-to-use fluid.

Description

“COREZ AdBlue” is a brand name for Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF), a solution used in modern diesel engines to reduce harmful nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions. It’s a non-toxic, clear, and odorless liquid composed of urea and deionized water. When injected into the exhaust stream, it reacts with NOx gases, converting them into nitrogen and water vapor, thus reducing pollution.
Where it’s used:
AdBlue is commonly used in heavy-duty vehicles like trucks, buses, and construction equipment, as well as in some passenger cars with diesel engines.
Important considerations:
AdBlue is not the same as diesel fuel and should never be added to the fuel tank. It is stored in a separate tank, usually with a blue filler cap located near the diesel filler. Running out of AdBlue can lead to reduced engine performance or even prevent the engine from starting.
